Why Use Goat's Milk Soap To Clear Acne?

One of the problems with many common treatments for acne today such as benzoyl peroxide is that they often cause unwanted side effects such as dry skin which can often result in considerable skin irritation and even rashes.

For many people who are sensitive to over-the-counter and prescription medications the side effects are often worse that the underlying acne and there use is simply a price which it is not worth paying to cure their acne. That's where treatments such as goat's mild soap comes into their own.

Goat's milk soap is gentle on the skin, having a pH which is very close to that of human skin, and contains a natural exfoliate (alpha hydroxyl acid) which removes dead skin and thus helps to clear acne. It is also high in such things as fat, protein, zinc and several vitamins including A, B, C and D which means that it is anti-inflammatory in nature and also provides the skin with essential nutrients.

As with most things on the market today however there are cheap imitations and many soaps which are marketed as goat's milk soap contain very little goat's milk and a lot of additives and chemicals. For this reason, if you do want to try goat's milk soap for your acne, then be sure to buy only high quality soaps.
